Welcome to Italian Import Racing. By accessing and using our website and services you accept the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making any purchase.
Italian Import Racing is a company located in San Rafael de Escazú, diagonal to CNFL, Escazú, Costa Rica, selling official Formula 1 merchandise and motorsport equipment. These terms govern the use of our website and the purchase of products through our platform. You can reach us at +506 6041-1276 or info@itimportracing.store.
All products shown on our site are subject to availability. Prices include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. Product photographs are for reference and may differ slightly from the actual item.
The catalogue can be browsed in US dollars (USD) and Costa Rican colones (CRC) using the currency selector in the header. Each price is a price of its own in that currency, not an automatic conversion. Card charges are always made in US dollars (USD). If you have colones selected when you reach payment, the site will tell you to switch currency before continuing; no charge is ever processed in a currency other than the one declared here. Your issuing bank may apply its own exchange rate and fees if your card is denominated in another currency: those charges are set by your bank and are not part of the price we charge.
When you place an order you will receive a confirmation by email. That confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the order. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order on grounds of availability, pricing errors or information suspected of fraud. If we cancel an order that has already been charged, the full amount is returned as described in the refunds section.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diners Club credit and debit cards. This is the only payment method enabled on the site. Charges are processed through BAC Credomatic on the PowerTranz platform. Your card details travel encrypted straight to the processor and are not stored on our servers. Every transaction is authenticated with 3D Secure against your issuing bank, which may ask you for a verification code to confirm it is you making the purchase. If you choose to save a card for future purchases, we keep only a processor token together with the brand, the last four digits and the expiry date. You can delete it at any time from your profile. We ship throughout Costa Rica. Delivery times are estimates and may vary by location and product availability. Shipping costs are calculated and shown before you confirm payment. Italian Import Racing is not responsible for delays caused by the courier service or events outside our control.
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 calendar days of receiving the product, provided it is in its original condition, unused and with all tags attached. To request a return, contact us by WhatsApp or email. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except for defective products or an error on our part. About the refund: - It is always credited to the same card used for the payment. We do not issue refunds in cash, by transfer, or to a different card. - If the charge has not yet been settled by the bank, the reversal is for the full transaction amount. - Once the charge has settled, partial refunds are possible, for example when only part of the order is returned. - The refund is processed within 5 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned product. How long the credit takes to appear on your statement is set by your issuing bank and usually takes a further 5 to 15 business days.
All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, is the property of Italian Import Racing or its respective licensors. The card and racing team marks shown belong to their respective owners. Reproduction, distribution or use without prior written authorisation is prohibited.
Italian Import Racing will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the product in question.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, in particular Law No. 7472 on the Promotion of Competition and Effective Consumer Defence. That law grants you a right of withdrawal on distance purchases within eight business days of receiving the product; the 15 calendar days we offer in the returns section is additional and broader, and does not replace that right. You may file a claim with the National Consumer Commission of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of San José, Costa Rica.
